Save the Date
Your friends and family will share the anticipation of your Big Day when they receive a Save the Date card from our collection of contemporary and classic designs.
Your Save the Date card is a preliminary invitation that allows your friends and family plenty of time to make arrangements to attend your wedding. These cards should be sent out four to six months before the wedding and the wedding invitations should follow two to four months later.
If the majority of your guests are traveling a great distance or traveling during a peak season, it is not unusual to send your Save the Date cards out twelve months in advance.
Information that is included on the Save the Date card: name of the bride and groom, date of the wedding, city and state. Options, such as your wedding web site (if you have one), airline and airport information, car rental information; hotel, local attractions; and weekend itinerary (if you have one) may also be incorporated. It is recommended to include “Invitation to Follow” at the bottom of the Save the Date card.
The Save the Date card can set the tone for your wedding, so be creative with a wide selection of colors, styles and themes. Add a picture of you and your fiancé, or include a motif that you plan to carry throughout your wedding.
